Green Green Grassland

Green Green Grassland is situated in Cingjing Farm Resort. Established on February 20, 1961, Cingjing Farm Resort is located 8 kilometers north of No. 14, Line A of the Central Cross-island Highway in Wushe, where air is fresh, forests are lush green, and carpets of flowers adorn. With its northern-European-like scenery, it is nicknamed the land of peace and happiness in Wushe. At an altitude of 1750 meters and with an average temperature of 15 - 23℃ from May to September, coming to Cingjing allows you to stay far away from the intense heat of the city. In Green Green Grassland, the most popular attraction in Cingjing Farm Resort, herds of cattle and flocks of sheep stroll back and forth from time to time on the huge and endless grassland. The scenery creates an illusion of being somewhere in the North. In the grassland, those best loved by tourists are the New Zealander staff's whistle blowing producing commands for the sheepdog to guide the sheep to gallop around and the "Sheep Stripping Show." The performance times of the sheep shows are 1 session each at 09:30 and 14:30 every Saturday and Sunday. During summer and winter vacations, long weekends, and national holidays, the performance times are 09:30 and 14:30. Wednesdays are the performers' rest days. Any change is subject to the announcements of Cingjing Farm Resort.

Hot Spring Soak at Lushan
Trip Route: Set out from Cingjing → Lushan Hot Spring → Return to Cingjing
The Lushan hot spring, formerly named Fuji hot spring, is a well-known attraction located in Ren'ai Township, Nantou County. There is an intriguing and legendary tale regarding the discovery of the spring: once upon a time when some indigenous people were hunting a herd of deer, they found that wounded and sick animals healed miraculously after their immersion in the hot spring. Through word of mouth, the hot spring became famous. Located 9 kilometers northeast of Wushe in the gorge where Chuo-shui River runs upstream; the Lushan hot spring is lucid and drinkable. While the alkaline sodium bicarbonate spring upwells from metamorphic strata, its temperature ranges from 58℃ to 98℃. During the Japanese regime, when Japanese scholars studying hot springs visited Lushan, they found the water quality so fine that they conducted elaborate research on the spring. They concluded that Lushan hot spring, whether it be its minerals or trace element content, it is one of a kind. As Hehuan Mountain was opened up by the Lushan tribe--the scenery was reminiscent of Mt. Fuji for the Japanese scholars, and so the Lushan hot spring was also called Fuji hot spring back then. In 1950, when former President Chiang Chieh-shih came to visit, the geographic environment reminded him of Lushan in mainland China, and he therefore renamed the place. Taking a hot spring soak in Lushan will benefit your health and wash away the dust and stress of city life.
